Ellen Rebarber is a sculptor. She works with a variety of materials; metal, wood, stone, stucco, plaster, clay and often found objects. She welds, solders and enjoys making raku or wood fired sculpture. She also has made handmade paper, silk screen prints, jewelry, baskets and loves to take photographs. Ellen studied painting and drawing with George Segal, who was an inspiration to her career as an artist. She attends advanced sculpture classes at Mason Gross School of Visual Arts at Rutgers. Private collectors have purchased her works and she is available for commissions. |
